Bill Averbach and his group Bam-Jazz will be playing a free concert at Duke Energy Plaza in Uptown Charlotte as part of the fundraising kickoff for the Arts& Science Council, one of the major funding sources for local artists and arts organization. The group will be playing their mix of Jazz, Blues, and Cajun music with a New Orleans influence.
The program spans history with songs from the early 20th century through to the present and includes some of Averbach's original pieces.
